Modernist architecture at the Palau de la Musica |
Maestros de la Guitarra shows are held in the beautiful Palau de la Musica - an architectural gem in Barcelona built in 1908 by the famous architect Luis Domenech i Montaner. The style of the building is Art Nouveau, and Palau de la Musica was listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco on December 4, 1997. The interior of the ornate building is dynamic with many curved lines as well as floral and organic motifs. You will love the venue as much as the music and performers themselves!
The show is run by
Poema S.L. Productions - a musical production company which opened in 2004 and runs shows in all the emblematic buildings of Barcelona, including Palau de la Musica Catalana, Basilica Santa Ma del Pi, La Catedral de Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia. Poema S.L. Productions ha organized lyrical concerts, such as Opera y Zarzuela as well as full orchestras such as Requiem de Mozart and Concierto de Aranjuez.
